The ASPCA runs a 24-hour phone service to provide information regarding toxins ingested by pets. There is a $65 fee for this service. Poison Control: 888-426-4435

If you have an emergency or urgent concern during regular office hours, call 508-877-0900 and press "4" on the phone tree to immediately reach a receptionist. We can see most daytime emergencies at FAH. After hours you will reach our answering service, which will page one of our doctors. The doctor will call you back to discuss the issue and help you decide on the next step: at-home care, or an appointment at FAH the next day, or an immediate trip to a 24-hour ER.
