Framingham Animal Hospital is a full service animal care facility. We
provide the following services for your pets:
- Physical Examinations -- An annual physical examination is essential
for the long term well-being of all your pets. This allows us to prevent
many diseases or treat diseases in the early stages before they become
life threatening. Geriatric animals may require more frequent exams.
Also, if your pet is exhibiting signs or behaviors which are unusual,
consult your veterinarian as soon as possible.
- Vaccinations -- Vaccines are a necessary part of preventative health
care for your dog and cat. Framingham Animal Hospital offers puppy and
kitten health care packages to get your new pet started off on the right
paw. We also provide the necessary vaccinations and preventative
healthcare for your adult dog and cat.
- Emergency Care -- Although Framingham Animal Hospital emphasizes
preventative care, we are available for emergency care should the need
arise. Our in-house laboratory and X-Ray equipment provides rapid results
which enables our doctors to assess your pet's problem and begin
appropriate care as quickly as possible. Please note emergency care is for
our regular, registered clients only!
- Dental Care -- Dental disease is extremely common in pet animals.
Framingham Animal Hospital offers professional dental cleaning along
with client education on preventative dental care for your pets.
- Hospitalization -- Framingham Animal Hospital has complete facilities
for hospitalization of our patients. When 24 hour critical care is
required, we work in conjunction with these hospitals:
Tufts University, and Angell Memorial Hospital
to provide your pet the best possible care.
- Surgery -- Framingham Animal Hospital is a full service hospital with
state-of-the-art equipment for surgery and patient monitoring. Most
surgeries can be performed by our veterinary staff at our facility.
Occasionally a pet has a special surgical need and a board certified
veterinary surgeon is consulted and is available to perform surgery at
our facility on an as needed basis.
- Special Diets -- A proper diet is important to your pet's health. Certain
medical conditions can be controlled or improved with the appropriate
prescription diet. We carry prescription diets foods for dogs and cats.
- Grooming and Boarding -- Framingham Animal Hospital does not provide
professional grooming or routine boarding. However, our staff can refer
you to grooming and boarding facilities in the area. We provide the
necessary grooming on your exotic pets.
- Behavior Problems -- Behavioral problems in dogs and cats are important
health issues. Framingham Animal Hospital has several nurses on staff with
special interests in this area and experience with products such as remote
training collars, clicker training, etc. We also provide referrals to
behavioralists in the area when special needs arise.
