Dr Rabaut graduated from Michigan State University college of Veterinary Medicine in 1968. Since that time she has been practicing at the Framingham Animal Hospital. In 1975 she became the owner of the practice, after purchasing it from Dr Greene. She was active in the Mass Veterinary Medical association during this time. In that association, she was a member of  the committee on ethics and grievances, member of the Public Relations committee,  served as secretary for 5 years and was elected President of the association in 1999.

She was the recipient of a Public Relations award and the Distinguished Service Award from the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association, as well as the recipient of the Henry Childers award from Tufts Veterinary School in recognition of the years of dedication to the education and mentoring of veterinary students.

A resident of Hudson since 1971, she loves any outdoor activity especially if her dogs can be included in it (biking, cross country skiing, paddleboarding, sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, running , hiking--all the quiet sports). She continues to ride a motorcycle--a carryover from her days in veterinary school where she used a small moped as her sole source of transportation.

She remains closely connected to her extended family of a 90 yr old mom, 5 brothers and 2 sisters and their husbands and wives, her 20 nieces and nephews and now her 9 great nieces and nephews. This means frequent trips back to Michigan or visits to different nieces or nephews.

Mostly, she continues to love practice, her patients, and her clients, with no plans on retirement.
